AUSTIN, Texas – Dec. 11, 2025 – Farm Credit Bank of Texas (FCBT) today announced the results of its recent Board of Directors’ election. Texas Farm Credit District stockholders have reelected Dennis Anthony of Friona, Texas, and Linda Floerke of Lampasas County, to the FCBT Board, with both directors set to begin new three-year terms on January 1, 2026.

Resulting from a recent amendment to its bylaws, the Board has also expanded its size from seven to eight directors effective January 1, 2025. James “Stewart” McGill of Huntsville, Alabama, has been elected to fill the newly established seat. McGill will serve the second and third years of that term beginning January 1, 2026.

Anthony has been a member of the FCBT board of directors since 2023 and serves on the bank’s audit and compensation committees. Based in Friona, Texas, he owns and operates Anthony Farm & Cattle, producing stocker cattle and growing milo, wheat and corn in Parmer and Deaf Smith counties. He also serves on the boards of the Parmer County Hospital District and Parmer Medical Center. He holds a bachelor’s degree in agricultural economics from Texas Tech University. Anthony is a former board chair of AgTexas Farm Credit Services and Great Plains Ag Credit and is a past chair of the Texas District Stockholders Advisory Committee.

Floerke has served on the FCBT board since 2017 and was elected vice chair in 2021. She serves on the bank’s audit and compensation committees and is a member of the Tenth District Farm Credit Council (TDFCC). Based in Lampasas County, Texas, she and her husband operate a cattle and hay operation and co-own Agro-Tech Services. She also serves on the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Leadership Advisory Board for Lampasas County and is a member of the Texas Agricultural Cooperative Council board.

McGill joins the board as a managing partner of Tate Farms General Partnership, a diversified North Alabama agricultural operation spanning more than 10,000 acres of row crops and a large agri-tourism business. Since becoming a partner in 2017, he has led the enterprise through significant expansion, doubling acreage and increasing annual visitor engagement while navigating transitional farmland and evolving agricultural markets. McGill currently serves as vice chair of the board at Alabama Farm Credit, where he chairs the governance committee and serves on the audit committee, and represents the institution on the Stockholders Advisory Committee and the TDFCC Board. He studied agricultural business, economics, and secondary education at Wallace State Community College, the University of Arkansas, and Auburn University, and also serves as a deacon and board chair at Flint River Baptist Church.

The eight-person FCBT bank board will include Anthony, Floerke, and McGill, along with Chair James F. “Jimmy” Dodson of Robstown, Texas; Dr. Larry Boleman of College Station; John L. “Jack” Dailey of Extension, Louisiana; M. Philip “Phil” Guthrie of Dallas; and Dorothy Nichols of Reston, Virginia.
