Legacy Ag Credit, ACA is headquartered in Sulphur Springs and has five offices conveniently located across the northeastern region of Texas in Sulphur Springs, Canton, Gilmer, Kaufman and Longview. Part of the Farm Credit System for more than 100 years as a rural agricultural lender and a private cooperative, we have made loans for farms, timberland, recreational property, agribusiness firms and rural homes.

Education and Experience Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Business or a related field, or equivalent to three (3) or more years of related marketing experience.

Job Purpose and Scope:

Manages the development and implementation of the advertising, sales promotion, and public relations efforts, as well as coordinates corporate sponsorship and trade shows.

Essential Functions:

  1. In coordination with senior management, establishes the goals and objectives of the association’s marketing, communications, and public relations programs. Directs activities designed to enhance the association’s public image and its position within the marketplace.
  2. Directs and coordinates planning and development of the advertising, sales promotion and public relations efforts for financial products/services by writing, designing and producing advertising, brochures, direct marketing materials, sales promotion items and point of sale material. Manages relationship with the advertising agency, media and other vendors. Coordinates corporate promotions and sponsorships on behalf of the association.
  3. Supports local advertising activities of the association by operating desktop publishing software to prepare local ad and radio script options. Monitors the production of marketing and advertising presentations. Manages advertising and public relations on an association-wide level. Ensures consistent appearance of all association print and electronic materials such as letterhead, use of logo, brochures, etc.
  4. Takes photographs of relevant association activities. Coordinates, analyzes and distributes market research data.
  5. Develops marketing related meetings and functions, including coordination and executive of the association’s appreciation and/or stockholder’s meetings.
  6. Administers and coordinates representation at trade shows by setting up and working the booth and ordering giveaways and booth materials. Implements work schedule for other employees to help at trade shows.
  7. Assists with the development and implementation of new products and services for the association. Represents the association on the district marketing committee.
  8. Administers sponsorships/donations for numerous programs on behalf of the association.
  9. Administers association subscriptions and membership programs and other special programs as needed.
  10. Coordinates and administers specialty item orders. Orders and disburses all gifts and specialty items such as caps and other apparel.

Skill Requirements:

General knowledge of marketing principles, advertising, media, public and media relations; product promotion, sales, customer service and advertising agency coordination. Skill in oral and written communication. Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Office applications. Ability to develop and make effective presentations.

Working Relationships:

Frequent interaction with association departmental staff and management. Occasional interaction with association senior management, CEO, and/or board of directors. Occasional interaction with Farm Credit Bank of Texas staff. Occasional interaction with area professionals including real estate agents, commercial bankers, and others who deal with the association in the normal course of business.

Compliance with FCBT and Association technology and security standards is required.
