The Regional Vice President is responsible for planning, directing, and managing the overall operations of multiple branch offices within the western region of the Alabama Farm Credit territory. Performs a direct role in the analysis, structuring, and monitoring of large and/or complex loans. Has considerable latitude for decision making in the implementation of association goals.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Agricultural Economics, Finance, or related field plus a minimum of ten (10) or more years of experience in agribusiness, lending, credit analysis and/or sales experience with a related financial services or agricultural credit organization required; master’s degree preferred. A minimum of five (5) or more years successful experience in a management role, with a proven ability to effectively lead a team.
Experience with a complex commercial portfolio is a requirement of this Vice President position. Demonstrates sound influence and negotiation skills in responsibilities such as loan pricing, loan terms and conditions. Possesses sound credit analysis skills with the ability to appropriately structure loan packages and proposals. Has thorough knowledge of client needs and the association’s product offerings. Demonstrates agricultural expertise including solid knowledge of multiple agricultural industries.
