Position Summary

The Office Administrator is responsible for managing our front desk daily and to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. The candidate for this role will be focused on receiving visitors at the front desk by greeting, welcoming, directing, and announcing them appropriately; answering, screening, and forwarding incoming phone calls; and general office support as assigned. To be successful as an office administrator, the candidate should have a pleasant personality, the ability to multitask, and work under general supervision.

Education and Experience Requirements

A high school diploma (or GED) plus a minimum of one (1) or more years of experience in general office or clerical environments and a proven track record of exceptional customer service.

Job Purpose and Scope

  • Greet and welcome guests and direct visitors to the appropriate person and office
  • Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls
  • Order office supplies and keep inventory of stock
  • Responsible for ordering and maintaining supply of office food, snacks, and beverages
  • Additional responsibilities may include:
  • Ensure assigned areas are tidy and presentable, with all necessary materials
  • Arrange travel and accommodations when necessary
  • Assist office staff with various projects as assigned
