Legacy Ag Credit, ACA is a full-service, locally owned cooperative lender specializing in financing rural land and agricultural operations in Northeast Texas. We are headquartered in Sulphur Springs and have five offices conveniently located across the northeastern region of Texas in Sulphur Springs, Canton, Gilmer, Kaufman and Longview. Part of the Farm Credit System, we provide financing for farms, timberland, recreational property, agribusinesses and rural homes.
High school graduate plus two (2) to four (4) or more years of experience in land or title examination and/or loan documentation preparation with a working knowledge of consumer compliance regulations.
Performs intermediate-level loan administration work. Prepares, verifies, reviews and processes loans, including secondary market loans, and related documents. Conducts loan closings that may be varied and somewhat complex in nature. Works under moderate supervision.
Develops and organizes loan applicant information for review and analysis by loan officers and inputs pertinent loan data into credit delivery system.
Proficient with Microsoft Office, Desktop Underwriter, and loan originating software. General working knowledge of the Encompass lending software system is beneficial. General knowledge of real estate compliance and disclosure requirements. General knowledge of accounting/financial systems. General knowledge of office equipment and systems used for the storage and retrieval of business information. General knowledge of standard records management and file classification practices. General knowledge of title insurance and related documentation requirements for title policies, deeds of trust, and collateral. Skilled in oral and written communication.
