Associate degree in Business Administration, Agricultural Economics, Finance, Accounting or a related field or equivalent experience.
General knowledge of accounting/financial systems. General knowledge of property and collateral appraisal methods. General knowledge of real estate instruments and records. Excellent interpersonal relations, verbal and written communication skills are required. Basic skill level in Microsoft Office applications. Ability to assist with appraisals of agricultural producing properties under closer supervision.
In a training program that focuses on learning to perform complete appraisals in compliance with UPAP and association collateral evaluation standards on properties. Works under close supervision. Must be on track to attain “trainee” status with the state’s Real Estate Appraiser Board for growth toward eventual General Real Estate Appraiser Certification upon meeting the state board’s education and experience requirements.
