AUSTIN, Texas
- The Austin-based Farm Credit Bank of Texas (FCBT) has hired Eric
Paul as vice president of loan syndications. He joins the bank's
new Capital Markets Group, which will develop and service a portfolio
of large participation and syndication transactions for the bank.
Paul has extensive
experience in the loan syndications sector, including loan structuring,
pricing and marketing to a nationwide investor base. Prior to joining
the FCBT, he was vice president of loan sales at Bank of America
in Charlotte, N.C., where he was an active nationwide marketer of
both primary and secondary loan syndication assets.
Other positions
have included vice president of syndicated finance at Bank of America
in Dallas, commercial loan officer at Fleet Boston (Summit Bank)
and an associate of J.P. Morgan Chase.
Paul is a licensed
Series 7 and 63 Representative. He has an MBA with a concentration
in finance from the University of Texas and a bachelor's degree
in business administration from the University of Richmond.
