Farm Credit Bank of Texas Promotes Alan Robinson to Vice President, Capital Markets Group
AUSTIN, Texas – The Austin-based Farm Credit Bank of Texas (FCBT) has promoted Alan Robinson to vice president, senior capital markets officer. In this position, he will manage a portfolio of national and multinational agribusiness accounts.
Robinson joined the bank in January 2004 as a credit analyst in the FCBT capital markets group, and has managed the credit analysis function for capital markets since January 2006. The capital markets group’s loan volume has experienced 156 percent growth over the past three years. The group provides capital and liquidity for food and agribusiness firms, rural utilities and rural communications companies.
"Since joining Farm Credit Bank of Texas, Alan has provided a tremendous amount of support to the lending function of the bank," said Isaac Bennett, FCBT managing director of capital markets.
Prior to joining Farm Credit Bank of Texas, Robinson was senior financial analyst for Sabre, Inc., in Fort Worth, Texas, from 1997 to 2001.
Robinson received his master of business administration degree from the University of Texas at Austin in 2003, and his bachelor of arts degree in economics and computer science from Duke University in 1997.
