Association: AgTexas Farm Credit Services serves approximately 2,000 borrowers in a 23 county trade territory. The eleven branch offices have an average volume of approximately $425 million. The loan portfolio consists of real estate, cotton, peanuts, livestock, dairy, feed grains and ag-related business loans. The Corsicana Office has 140 members with an outstanding loan volume of $24 million. This office portfolio includes full and part-time ag loans and real estate loans.

Area: Corsicana has a population of 25,000 and is located approximately 50 miles south of Dallas. The community is the county seat of Navarro County, providing multiple school district options. Recreational opportunities, including hunting, fishing and water sports, abound in the area, home of the 40,000 acre Richland Chambers Lake. Corsicana is home to Navarro College and a branch of Texas A&M, Commerce.

Requirements: Three to five years of secretarial experience preferred with knowledge of banking, real estate and agriculture being a plus. Applicant must have excellent people skills and good oral and written communication skills. Must be a team player. A good working knowledge of computers (Microsoft Word and Excel) is essential along with organizational skills in multi-task job role.

Responsibilities: Provide customer service and contact, assist in preparation of computer generated loan documents, develop follow up systems, prepare customer correspondence, review credit packages for completion and accuracy, assist branch manager with internal review program, office reporting requirements, support lending staff in all areas, branch office accounting, and general office duties.
