The Farm Credit Bank of Texas Development Program is open to post-graduates. In the development program, the candidate is provided opportunities to learn broad aspects of the Farm Credit Bank of Texas Credit Division. The program offers offsite networking opportunities to prepare the candidate to immediately progress into a position in one of the affiliate offices in Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi, New Mexico or Texas as a Lending Officer. Completion of this program will prepare candidate(s) for continued professional development within the Farm Credit System. Must be able to travel during the duration of the program, and must be willing to relocate after completion of the program.
Association Direct Lending Group - administers an eight hundred million dollar participation portfolio and the eight billion dollar direct lending relationship with associations across five states. Direct Lending works closely with the association on new business development which includes negotiating, pricing, packaging and structuring of large and frequently complex loans from across the United States.
Credit Operations and Risk Management Department - is charged with maintaining the safety and soundness of the bank’s credit function. This department also manages a portion of the bank’s portfolio, including specialized loan pools as well as distressed loans.
Capital Markets Group - provides capital and liquidity for national and multinational food and agribusiness firms, rural utilities and rural communications companies. The Capital Markets team excels in originating and servicing complex agribusiness and rural-utility loans, and analyzing commercial credit opportunities.
