Education and Experience: Position requires a bachelor's degree in agricultural economics, finance business administration, economics or accounting plus a minimum of five years lending, finance and/or accounting experience is required.

 

Job Purpose and Scope: Responsible for developing new business in a rapidly growing market along with servicing existing agribusiness, commercial and real estate customers. This will be accomplished by establishing business relationships with agricultural producers, agribusinesses, rural land owners, and business leaders in the community and cultivate these relationships into new or expanded lending opportunities. He or she will make and/or convey decisions on loan approval, structure and pricing and will also be responsible for exercising credit risk management responsibilities on loans within area of responsibility.

 
Skill Requirements: Must have the ability to review and understand complex credit packages, including multi-entity transactions with accrual accounting systems. Position requires knowledge of banking administration, accounting standards, and banking regulations. An excellent working knowledge of personal computers is essential including operating systems, applications, computer networking and systems administration. Must be familiar with all types of business related insurance and risk management practices. Good interpersonal skills and excellent oral and written communications skills are required.
 
Working Relationships: This position will have high visibility in the local and surrounding communities. Relationship manger will be in constant contact with Association stockholders relative to loan closing and customer problem resolution. Position will work closely with accounting and information services personnel in the District Bank, and will provide assistance to all outside auditors. Daily interaction will be necessary with Association loan and administrative staff to insure loan and general ledger transactions are properly handled and recorded.
