The Association territory is the state of New Mexico, with Credit Offices located in Belen, Las Cruces and Clovis.  The loan portfolios are very diversified with loans for farming, livestock operations, dairies, real estate and ag related-business.

Education and Experience Requirements

The Association is seeking a Senior Credit Officer who has a solid foundation in agricultural/commercial credit, experience in a trusted position of responsibility, strong skills in underwriting and credit analysis, and sound credit judgment.  The position requires a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration or related business field, or commensurate experience with minimum of five (5) years of experience in financial statement analysis, cash flow analysis, collateral evaluation, appraisal standards and financial forecasting.  Excellent computer, interpersonal, and communication skills are required.

Job Scope

Assists credit officers in managing loan portfolios including loan originations in the trade area served by the association.  Works with complex loans and conducts complex credit analysis. Analyzes balance sheets, income statements, and cash flows of potential borrowers to ascertain creditworthiness.  Maintains current, adequate and verified financial information on borrowers and guarantors as required by association policy.  Prepares loan closing packages in accordance with all applicable association and FCA policies and regulations.
